mirror

 Found this prayer very profound.

Lord Jesus, how you have loved us! How you have given yourself for us, your bride, your church. Lord, I would ask today that you call my husband to the same kind of love and self-sacrifice. I didn't deserve it from you, and I don't deserve it from him, but I so need it. Father, equip him, strengthen him, encourage him to love his bride as you have loved yours.

I don't know how to put this. But as long as we wait for something/someone to change, it somehow doesn't happen. But when we start changing things in ourself (or ask God to help us transform) , things started to change in my family.

For example, I never knew I was capable of being so angry. I thought my husband was only short tempered. Fact was, so was I. And God changed me first.  And I had built up so much of bitterness over the days, that it was so hard to love my guy. So I started asking God to remove the bitterness and fill me with his love so that I can fall in love with my husband. Seriously. I did pray that. And I did. And believe it or not, my husband, the same guy who always kept repeating that our marriage was a mistake and that he was cheated, says in family prayer everyday, ' I thank you God for the wife and kids you gave me' . So the change has been mutual in our case.

I also believe that if we are diligent in our BP, our quiet time and prayer life, he shows where we need to improve. Where we have to repent. I can honestly say that many years I have gone by thinking I was all good, so no need of repenting..🙈🤦🏻‍♀

Maybe it's not relevant to the prayer, but thought of sharing. 🙄

I wanted to add to what's you had said...even I thought many times I was all fine and justifying my behaviour with God, until when I started to meditate on Galatians 5:22-33 while praying for our marriage; the Lord showed me areas in my life which I needed the change. At the same time I pray for the character of the husband that's mentioned in the passage. The depth in the passage is so great. It's so beautiful and on realising where we stand puts us to shame. I am still not the character though that God desires of me, but this really shows me whom I need to be.

Praise God. His word is like a mirror. That reflects  and cuts through.😬

Transfer

I got married on 3rd May. I was in Chennai Infosys (M-City) before marriage and my husband is in Bangalore Infosys. So, I had to apply for a transfer to Bangalore Infosys which is a SEZ-to-STP transfer. Both my parents and I were so confident that we would get it without pain as we had a great support from my uncle who is a superior officer in customs.

I was on leave till 16th May and reported directly at Bangalore Infosys, after my marriage, on 17th May as directed by my uncle.

My uncle had already got the transfer approved from one of the HR's but I had no proof supporting this transfer approval. The HR who approved it was on an unplanned long leave. I was so worried thinking that my entire transfer process was in freeze and had no choice but to go back to Chennai.

By God's grace, I got a temporary transfer for 30 days to continue working from Bangalore with great help from my PM and DM. I really wonder how it happened. Because earlier, they were not positive about any kind of transfer. But that day, my DM himself requested for a temporary approval and got it for me. I praised God for getting me such a grace in the sight of these people.

Again we initiated a transfer request for permanent transfer. Though my uncle also helped me get through these procedures from outside, it took me nearly 28 days to get the approval from a list of approvers. At last, one of the approvers who was supposed to approve my request had a busy schedule and I could not reach him because he was out of city on a company assignment. It was mentioned in the transfer system that 15th July was the last date to complete the transfer after which the request will become invalid. I thought it will be active till mid-night 12:00 and I could get the approval on 15th July morning. But to my shock the entire request became invalid by 15th July morning itself. I tried to extend the date with help of my manager but in vein.

This time I was totally upset because the request which took nearly a month’s time to get close to closure became invalid just because one approver delayed it and that I should start from the scratch.

Now, I just had two days left for my temporary transfer to get over too. Usually for any problem, we as a family pray to God. I also asked Beulah Navaneethar akka to pray for me. She said "God has His own plans for you. So you don’t worry".

The next day morning my PM said he could initiate a request afresh and will get all the approvals for me. I wondered how long it is going to take this time. But, those approvers who took a complete month to approve my permanent transfer approved the new request within half-a-day. Yes. I got my permanent transfer approved! I don’t know how it proceeded so soon and so surprisingly. I praise God and thank Him from my heart.

Three big things that I learnt from this.

1) I had put my trust on people and was dependant on them for my needs. But I learnt that what is done through people is all because of God’s grace only. Without God’s help I couldn’t get their help.

2) Nothing is hard to do for God Almighty. What seem to be a hill for me; He just takes few seconds to bring them down.

3) I had an expectation that God will do my transfer request only through my uncle and He will get it approved seamlessly the first time itself. But He took me through many different routes which I wondered if they could lead me to the final destination. But, WOW! how wonderful His ways are.

I had a tough time with my transfer. But God didn't forsake me all the way through it. Now, I am happy that I went through this tough time to learn such good lessons and to bear a witness as well.

even 5 mins counts!

I'll share some that worked for me...I had started in Jan3,it took almost 6months for me to complete.. I could have completed sooner if I had been consistent..like for some days I had read even for 1+hours but for some days I didn't read at all...if i had a daily consistent time, it'd have been more better..But after completing Bssr the Bible seems  more close and i feel like we can read it whenever we want. Honestly I didn't follow the kneeling position most of the times as I used to read not only at  home, but also in office-during breaks, while on travel etcc... My nature slowly started changing from -Quickly seeing phone even if i get a small 5min break  TO opening the Bible app thinking,"I can finish these many verses in this 5mins"....
I have read individual chapters of the Bibile before in my daily reading and i usually hadn't focussed on chapters like Leviticus ,Numbers, Jeremiah, Ezekiel etccc as i think they're difficult to read / consist mostly about animal sacrifices...

But now reading the entire Bible from Genesis - Revelation helped me to understand God's big picture from Creation to Resurrection which is far more amazing & Awesome, beyond my comprehension....

And really blessed to be a part of this group, for follow-ups and testimonies and all the encouragements❤️

His word cleanses us

I am alive because of his word and the healing his word brought to me in the past 6 months. I breath cos of his loving kindness 💕 I learnt about his character, I walk because of the strength his word provided, I walk with confidence because I know who he really is by knowing his heart through his word. Glory to our father, God Jesus alone 🙏🏽

I started reading the word of God in Jan 2025 bed ridden back to back hospitalisation, and numerous tests and injections plug back and forth. Everything around me and my family looked shattered and the doctors report made it look like there is no tomorrow but the power of prayers and God's word changed the blood report every 2 months I went for a review. a journey that God didn't let me give up even my health and flesh failed me. My healing journey strengthened my family and the friends who have earnestly lifted me up in their prayers. I am the living testament that his word brings life to dry bones and dead cells.

During the end the journey during one of my business trips, God brought a Muslim brother who came who saw me reading the word in the train and I had the opportunity to share the love of God and the power of his word and challenged him how Christ and his word can transform his life and family too.

This group is filled with warriors who thirst for the word of God earnestly sharing this to for the edification of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Thanking each and every one for your persistence, encouragement, and push that you give every day. Really wanna thank beu for leading us through this time of transformative and healing journey through his word. 🙏🏽😇

Hosanna 2013

From: Rajamanohari PM

Subject: Hosanna 2013 - at a glance

[STAY CONNECTED WITH GOD BE UNITED IN FELLOWSHIP Word of God shared by Austin where he helped us to meditate on John 17:20-26.The key aspects of the message were how we should be united in Christ and live a life worthy of the calling that we have received and to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. We see Jesus praying for those who believe in his Word and who by believing, are caught up in the love of God. This love, this divine compassion which brings with it forgiveness and eternal acceptance in the sight of God, in turn prompts forgiveness and acceptance within the brotherhood. He prays, not that we just continue in this divine love, but that it be ultimately perfected in us. More than this, Jesus tells us that he provides the strength for its perfection in us. He has displayed before us his radiant glory, the revelation of God's mind, and this is to progress our ultimate perfection.   - Description: Text box sidebar for laying out a highlighted story and photo.]16th February 2013
was a day of thanksgiving to remember God's bounty in the year and to reflect upon the good things in our lives and remember why we should be grateful for what we have. As the psalmist says “That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works” we offered our glory and honor to GOD on the recollection of so many and great favors and blessings as each day comes to us refreshed and anew. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Host of this universe, who daily spreads love joy and happiness in our lives and it was a day to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor. It was a day of a glad and reverent lifting of the heart to God in honor and praise for His goodness.
Opening prayer, praise & worship
We began the day with a word of Prayer by Austin thanking GOD for his gracious inspiration in all our doings and helping us with his continual assistance, for the weather conditions and all arrangements needed for the day. We moved on into a time of worship lead by Prince and Team from Shols thanking and Praising GOD for all his goodness, mercies and grace. Coming into God’s presence was the key to the throne room of God and true intense intimacy with Him and we made a choice to rejoice in the Lord reaching to the very depths of our souls and touching every aspect of our being .It was a time to help us to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God and to feed the mind with the truth of God to discover that in giving Him pleasure, we ourselves enter into what can become our richest and most wholesome experience. We sang a few songs like Count your blessings, Power of Your love, When I look into your holiness, Beautiful One, This is how we overcome, He is My Rock, Above all Powers etc. and the worship time helped us to come into the presence of God with a sense of privilege to His house, aware of his greatness and majesty, to experience the beauty of our Savior, to open the heart to his love and to devote the will to the purpose of God.

“That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you had loved me – John 17: 21-23

Ice breaker
Following the worship was the ice breaker session coordinated by Jayant and Angeline, which made us to enter the process of engaging in activities full of enjoyment that was aesthetically pleasing to the group of people. We played the game of “Big Fish and Small Fish” which helped to create a lively environment and build an atmosphere to boost the enthusiasm and vitality of each and every one of us.
TEstimony by john immanuel david
After a time of enthusiasm with the ice breaker session we moved on to sharing of Testimony by our fellow rocker John Immanuel David which really made us understand  his passion and love for GOD and the zeal with which he works things for the glory of GOD.
His word says, "My thoughts are not your thoughts. My ways are not your ways". It happened exactly in his life and just as God prepared Moses by training him 40yrs in palace and next 40yrs in wilderness to use him for the remaining 40yrs of His life, God prepared him for a greater calling. By the grace of God, he was able to get placed in Infosys though he was depressed when he missed Cognizant. During Mysore training, they started to meet in their rooms for prayer and fellowship which had brought him closer to God. One night, he had a dream. "Many young people were deliberately falling into very large pit full of ditch. Some of my fellowship friends and I were trying to stop them from falling. We were also trying to bring them out of that pit just to realize that many dark souls swimming inside that dirty water were pulling them inside". God anointed him in a special meeting and on 5th Aug 2012, when he was leading youth meeting, he asked them "whether they can love Jesus even if situations are against them". But he had to answer that question first. The same day his dad got major heart attack. He was admitted in hospital. He was continuously on life supporting system. On 19th Aug, his dad passed away. An hour before his death, doctors called them. When he and his sister went inside, God reminded him about the question that he asked to the youth. God gave him strength to answer "I Love you even at this situation". And God is leading him and his family miraculously till date as a heavenly Father and a faithful and true God.

Praise God for the financial favors

Prayer time
[STANDING FOR GOD IN OUR WORKPLACE After times of fun we had a message from “Mr. Daniel Jebasingh” who was HR professional in Infosys during 2001 timeframe. His message was transcendent and exemplary which kindled the fire in each soul. He spoke to us regarding “WITNESSING CHRISTIAN PROFESSIONAL” and that the world is yet to see what GOD can do with a person who is wholly consecrated to HIM. He illustrated the importance of we being chosen as epistles of GOD. We were asked to quote the character which has deeply inspired us from the Scriptures and the reason for our inspiration. Each of us came with several characters like Joseph, Daniel, Job, Paul, Peter, David, Solomon etc. and some of the exquisite and admirable traits of the characters.  He dealt with the Character Daniel in his message and elucidated how Daniel distinguished himself at work along with some of his incomparable qualities like “No corruption”, ”Trustworthiness”, ”Diligence in work” which people testified him. He spoke of Daniel’s attitude which was the epitome of testimonial life and delineated the importance of living a life where our Higher Officials, Neighborhood and our fellow believers would testify our lives. (3D testimony). He also spoke about rejoicing in the LORD always in our toughest situations when people bring in false accusations and not to get tired of working out our living with the strength of GOD. He ended up with the prayer of Jabez where he cried out to the God of Israel which we come across in   I Chr 4:10 "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain."  The depth of his message was satisfying to us more than the metaphysics of booksJ  - Description: Text box sidebar for laying out a highlighted story and photo.]<http://click.thesaurus.com/click/nn1ov4?clksite=thes&clkquery=385A746517184BB864426C6325EE7FE0&clkpage=the&clkimpr=USpfbw5jtiQ+w8Yj&clkld=0&clkorgn=100074&clken=1clk&clkord=0&clkblk=d&clktemp=mid&clkmod=1clk&clkitem=exquisite&clkdest=http%3A%2F%2Fthesaurus.com%2Fbrowse%2Fexquisite%3Fo%3D100074>Enriching ourselves with spiritual food and biblical insights, we moved on to a time of prayer led by Gershome. We prayed for unity in our fellowship, salvation of our families, salvation of Infosys, confession of our sins if we have backslidden , for people whom we have shared the gospel through Carols, Christmas programs and we offered thanksgiving to GOD for Mission Trip, Confluence, Christmas Program, Carols etc.
SKIT
Followed by a heavy lunch we moved on to the skit illustrating the importance of spiritual maturity and being rooted in Christ. It was a very comical and thought provoking skit to analyze and examine the road which actually leads into becoming more close and intimate with GOD. A few takeaways from the skit:

[*]     We can't achieve spiritual health through physical strength or outward activity alone. It's an inner condition that can only be achieved through a relationship with the Lord, and growing daily by taking in his Word.

[*]     Physical labours cannot bear fruit if they are done in our own strength for Jesus said, "Without Me, you can do nothing." We must abide in Him, and depend on His strength to help us accomplish His will.

[*]     Our relationship with GOD can be strengthened only if we have an intimate relationship with, when we read his word ,increase in the knowledge and understanding of his Word, abide by his word, seeking God’s wisdom and the strength of the Holy Spirit in prayer and most important increasing in the practice of Christ like qualities.

GROUp activities and fun games
Following the skit we had a group activity where we were split into groups of five. Each team was given a topic and was supposed to come up with a skit emphasizing the given theme. The general concept of the skit was to bring out how certain characters in the BIBLE were backslidden and how better could they have lived in accordance with the word of GOD if they would have abided by his words. A few of the topics which were assigned to the teams were the story of LOT and his family in Genesis 19:1-19, life of Solomon in I Kings 11, Jealous attitude of Saul towards David in I Samuel 18, the Parable of the Prodigal’s son in Luke 15:11-32 and the Parable of the Talents in Mathew 25:14-30.
Each of the teams came up with a thought provoking skit to accentuate the wonderful instinct about the character and its associated contexts and behind every exquisite thing that existed in the short skits, there was something leaving a trace of message in each one’s hearts. The most beautiful senses, the most fastidious emotions and the darkest deeds created an invariable mark of wisdom to see the miraculous in the common. It made us realize the history that shackled characters, situations that traumatized them and caused them to spiritually stutter. It helped us to schlepp decisions today that propel us to the life we want and towards the healing we need.
We enjoyed a couple of games along with the groups that we were split in. We played the game of reciting numbers in the group from 1 omitting those associated with the number “3”. The time together was filled with the events of magical likelihood and we were on the verge of laughter when a person was spotted out to say something cogent regarding “No 12”. We also enjoyed other games like quoting ten names of products like newspapers, airways, toothpastes, footwear outlets and social networking sites. We had much fun and laughter taking the time to soak up a little peace and serenity.
END of Hosanna 2013
At the end of the day we had a visit to the beach and those were fun filled moments with the smell of the salty water, the wind in our face, and the gentle roar of the waves all combining to create a sense of peace and calm.
Our memories of thanksgiving will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone ,to experience to the utmost, to think, to enjoy, to love-then make that day count for the glory of GOD!!!.]

finger

Dear Warriors in Christ,

This is Testimony time for me…

On the day(7th Mar 2013) my son met with small accident on his right hand. His middle finger was disfigured and doctor advise us, it may need surgery which may involve cutting off his disfigured finger part if it doesn’t heal on its own. We are agonized hear that news, we are deeply sad after hearing that my son finger need to be cut off. I was devastated and I felt that all my hope start simmer in anger that why this would happen to my innocent baby. Suddenly my subconscious starts pushing me.. Jesus is there and Lord can cure anyone and everyone in the world. I kneel down to him and requested all of you also to pray for my son. Finally as I believe on Jesus as you are also did, the miracle happened to my son and I am happy to convey that Jesus answered on our prayer(s)..  my son cured well and he is able to hold things with his finger and Its cured completely.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS AND KINDNESS!!!

Shockers Singles Unite 2011. a flash back

Subject: Shockers Single Unite - Enjoying your singleness while it lasts!

Last Saturday, the She-Rockers had a girls retreat in Honey Drops, East tambaram. Below is the writeup for the benefit of those who were unable to make it. Attached are the materials that would be helpful for those waiting for marriage.

Shockers Singles Unite

A nice cloudy Saturday morning, perfect for sleeping in late! But 10-15 shockers were at the Venue by 8 AM for the girls retreat. We had guitarist, keyboard players, singers, actors and others to arrange the projector, mic and chairs.

The meeting was to start at 9 AM. Exactly at 9, the power went down. Uncle (the owner of the venue) said, 'Well, its Saturday, it may come at 10 AM or it may be full day power cut- meaning we'll get power back at 5 PM'. Few shockers immediately gathered and prayed that God might rule over the situation. With no power, we couldn't use the projector to project the lyrics of the song. But God ruled. Ajantha on keys and Joy with the guitar led the worship. The first song 'Shake another hand' set the upbeat mood. God helped us to praise and worship him with all our hearts and we started rejoicing in His presence.

We were each given a name tag and then we were divided into 4 teams, with names ‘Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba’ I.e. Women from the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew Chapter 1. Even though they had a troubled past, these women had a special place in the Bible. We were given paper chits to jot down all our craziest, extreme fancies, and dreams and we dropped it into the Dream Box. The box was too full! We pulled out the reference of the most handsome guys of the Bible- Saul and Absalom (1Samuel 9:2, 2 Samuel 14:25). We thus learnt that it is not outward appearance, but inward character that matters (1Samuel 16:7). Being dark, short, curly, straight, fat, lean or blemish doesn't matter, for we are unique and special in God's eyes. (Zechariah 2:8, Isaiah 43:1). We played a game of opposites, Tall/short, light/dark,big/small, Cain/Able, Joseph bros/Joseph, Miriam/Moses, Rachel/Leah and How easy it is to compare eachother and how comparison results in havoc. But learn to compare with Job, Ezekial, Daniel, Paul instead. When we know, whose we are, we realize how special we are. Beulah showed a pine cone and some wild flowers through which she explained if God has shown such care and beauty to something that is here today and gone tomorrow, how much more we (His children) matter to him.

Beulah shared her testimony, of how God helps her through her waiting period. 'Beulah' means ‘married’; we are married to the Lord, for he is the lover of our soul. He is the one, who loves us more, more than we've ever been loved before. We worship the King of kings (Revelation 19:16), which makes us all Princesses! We had a small skit- a conversation between friends, one who was worried, another angry, and depressed because of different problems in marriage proposals. Going through this, how do we manage the anger, worry? Beulah showed us a plant with roots. Hebrews 12:15, talks of bitterness as root. When we let this grow, it leads to bitterness -> worry-> fear-> hatred -> anger -> resentment and it could grow into a big tree. We might cut down the leaf or the branches (anger, depression feeling) for some time, but if the root is untouched, the plant will grow again. We defined 'sin' as, anything that could take the focus off of Jesus. We read Romans 6, and underlined all the words that said of 'death'. It said that we are dead to the sin. When our flesh is nailed to the cross, when Jesus died, the self-dies too. The bitterness can be uprooted only at the cross. We learnt that baptism experience - the dying to sin, and alive in Christ must be practiced daily, every moment to overcome the difficulty. For it does not take a long time to sin. Just a sinful thought that comes in a microsecond is all we need to sow a seed of bitterness towards someone! We prayed and put our name tags on the cross in the screen and exchanged it with a 'Jesus' tag. She also showed us a rotten banana, and asked if anyone would like to eat it. None of us volunteered. We then had a group activity to list down the activities we do right from getting up from bed. After we were finished, a married shocker’s morning list of activities was projected, we saw how much time ‘singles’ have and how we can no longer give a lame excuse of ‘no time’ . When we don’t have regular quiet time, we would stink like the rotten banana. But when we spend time with God, we will have the Fruit of Holy Spirit: Joy, Love, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control. We memorized it.

It was followed by a Skit from Francene and team which depicted the importance of First priority to God. Then we learnt the Armor of God in an easy way and shockers were asked to do the armor of God in groups with newspaper!
Armor of God:
               Helmet of Salvation
               Belt of Truth
Feet fitted with readiness that comes from Gospel of Peace.
               Breast-Plate of Righteousness
               Shield of faith
Sword which is the Word of God.
God has asked us to put this Armor in order to overcome the Devil’s Schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-20). We also memorized James 4:7 with action.

Triangle of Love:

Only by having God’s unconditional love in us- full and overflowing, we can forgive and love the person who have hurt/discouraged/disappointed us.

Then Rebecca Isaac gave us her testimony. She said that unless they have their Quiet time, they refuse to leave the house. It became a rule in the house. She taught that we should be guarded and rooted in God's word, to overcome evil and to not be unequally yoked. She had prayed for God’s will in her life, and God arranged everything beautifully in both families and they did not look into caste at all. We learnt how God could break barriers, caste and man’s plan and fulfill His plans, when we completely seek His will and surrender to it alone.
She also taught us how to PRAY- Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield.
P-Praise: It has become common to praise God only in our joyful situations. But Praise the Lord in any situation even at critical times. Even if any alliance breaks off, still Praise the Lord.
R-Repent: To repent from our sins as Jesus is ready to wash us from our sins. Our sins prevent us from receiving our God’s blessings. So we have to repent.
A-Ask: Ask whatever you want. Never cease praying at any circumstances. Ask for the type of person you want as life-partner. Note down them and pray daily. God will see our heart’s desires and will fulfill them according to His will.
Y-Yield: Yes, Lord will grant our prayers according to His will. But patiently wait for the Lord’s time.
She made us read the entire Proverbs 31 one after the other, and helped us understand, how much responsibility a girl has in a family, and where we stand!
She shared that it will be always good if we accept the person the Lord gives rather than we select a person by ourselves and then pray to Lord for Him. She also told to spend at least 30 mins for Quiet time with the Lord.

Then Alwin Joyce shared her testimony, of how faithfully God took care of her during her waiting period, spanning anxiety, loneliness, and pressure from family. She taught us what the Bible says about God’s will in choosing the mate, what characters are necessary and important for the spouse, and how to pray for the spouse. She also taught us to use the waiting time, to grow closer to God and to develop those same characters in us. Attaching the ppt she used during her testimony. It was amazing to hear how beautifully God had brought in her husband at the right time, with the exact characters, that she had prayed for. She also taught us, not to think of marriage all the time, but to use our singleness to spend more time with our Lord. The attached document on Esther helped Joyce to prepare herself during her waiting period. Being Single is the time to get prepared to be like Proverbs 31 woman. She also taught us how important it is to wait on God directly rather than, depending only on prophesies, and prayers of other people. We thank God for her, as inspite her difficulty she stood and shared her testimony! – (she is 9 months pregnant)

Then we had skit by Karunya and Team which depicted about the Characters of Good and Bad Companions after lunch break. How your thoughts can be influenced by the people around you and how it can be useless /destroy people or edify and encourage people. We learnt, that the bible tells us that we should be teachers/ instruct Hebrews 5:12. Romans 15:14 says that we should grow stronger in the Lord, which again states how important Quiet Time is for us.

Then we had Testimony by Valarmathi Moorthy which had a message of Standing for God at all times. She is a First Generation Believer. Her thirst to know the truth and desire to worship the true God, was amazing to hear. Through her testimony, we learnt how God can directly speak through verses to each of us, if we are passionate and waiting on the Lord. We learnt how important it is to spend time with God to be ready to hear Him. We learnt how amidst the entire family pressure, and struggles, God helped her to remain true and faithful to Him and how He opened up the doors and led the way through. Her zeal and joy of the Lord inspired us, and the faith she had on the Lord, led her family to come to Christ! She is married to a believer and is blessed with a child! Praise God. . Her energetic, bubbling character and humor, made it so lively and fun!

It was followed by Testimony from Priscilla Joel which had a message of yielding to God’s will. There were pressure in different ways, but it was encouraging to see how she was able to tackle her worried mother, and remain without anxiety or fear on the future. It was an eye opener to see, how she used her waiting period, which had helped her when the right person came along, there was no doubt, and confusion in both their hearts and both their families and how everything just fell into place. It was amazing to see how God had fulfilled her desire to get married to the first guy who had come to see her first. She had prayed for that specifically. It was wonderful to see their 3 month baby! She was so silent throughout the program!

Each testimony was unique, different and very helpful and encouraged each of us to seek God in all circumstances, to depend, and to glorify Him. As a final activity, we were told to write 5 characters that each of us need to work on during our waiting period. Finally the session ended up with prayer. At the end, to insist on the importance of humility, when God who made the heavens and earth washed our feet, we had an open invitation to wash each other's feet. It was such a humbling experience.

We thank our Lord heavenly father, for helping us to get-together and have some fun! We thank all those who prayed for the program and for all the volunteers in the background, who made this possible! Oh did I tell you? God sent us the electricity power within an hour! Praise God!

Praise, Glory and Honor be to our Almighty God!!!!!

With prayers,
